This is when life comes a full circle – 10 years ago, I was sitting in this very hall listening to lectures and learning the ropes of Orthopaedics and today I’ve been invited here to give a surgical demonstration and to give a lecture to the students. I feel very honoured to receive a memento from the very teachers that taught me everything that I know about Orthopaedics. It’s always a pleasure to visit Sancheti Institute of Orthopaedics in Pune, where the knowledge of Ortho and the kind of work that they do is astounding. I’m proud to have had my earliest exposure to this branch at this institute, and even prouder to be back here teaching.
